Abigail, newborn daughter of Samuel & Elisabeth Woodruff, lies beneath a dual gravestone with another of the couple's babies, a brother named Samuel, who was born a decade later and died at the age of eight months in 1747. The little siblings' inscriptions (see below) appear side by side, above a single epitaph:

"Sleep lovely Babes Since God has call'd thee hence
Let us submit to his wise Providence"

The tympanum of their brown sandstone stele features tulips, instead of soul effigies typical of the colonial era, and like the ornately carved floral borders, represents the brevity of life.
