John and Josie were born on their parents homesteads. John lived one mile West and Josie lived two miles West of Lands Lutheran Church. They both attended a country grade school named ~ Sunday School.

Claude A. Bennett appeared for Mrs. Ingebretson, the plaintiff. Cruelty was charged in the complaint.

Funeral Held Wednesday For Josie Ingebretson
Services were held at Anderson Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon, June 3, for Josie Ingebretson. Rev. Glenn Midthun officiated. Mrs. Helmina Isakson was organist.

Pallbearers were Roy Beck, William Matzen, Emerson Bulley, William Kurvink, Bernhard Tuntland and John Oldenkamp. Burial was at Forest Hill cemetery.

Born Feb. 2, 1887 to Mikel and Jensine Grane, Mrs. Ingebretson lived her entire life in Lincoln county. Josie died in a nursing home in Lennox, SD, June 1, 1964. She was 77 years old.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, two sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Lucile) Weiland of Sioux Falls, seven grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
