DEATH CLAIMS YOUNG MOTHER
Mrs. Robert Prewitt Died Tuesday
Following Childbirth

Mrs. Robert Prewitt passed away at the Akron hospital at 12:30 Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Prewitt gave birth to a baby son on April 29th, and the following day her condition became serious and on Sunday she was removed to the Akron hospital in hopes that her life might be spared to care for her family but she grew weaker gradually until death claimed her Tuesday.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM at the Barnard Funeral Home with Rev. George Steinkamp of the Lutheran Church in charge. Her remains will then be taken to Canton, her former home, and funeral services will be held at the Lutheran church there at 2 PM in the afternoon. Burial will be made at Canton.

Elsie Ingebretson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ingebretson of Canton, was born July 19, 1909, and so was 25 years, 9 months and 18 days old at the time of her death. Most of her life before her marriage to Robert Prewitt, April 1, 1933, was spent at Canton. When a child she was confirmed and joined the Lutheran church in Canton and she remained a member of this church until her death.

During her brief residence of two years in this city, Mrs. Prewitt made friends with those with whom she came in contact. Her interests were in her home in caring for her children.

Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Shirley, Charlene and Robert Dwane, the babe just a week old at the time of her death. She also leaves to mourn her untimely death her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Ingebretson of Canton and one sister, Miss Lucile Ingebretson of Sioux Falls. One sister, Myrtle, preceded her in death.

The passing of Mrs. Prewitt is a severe blow to her husband and she will be sorely missed in her home. Sincere sympathy is extended to the family in their great sorrow. Mr. Prewitt and the two younger children will make their home with his mother, Mrs. Lillian Wagner, while Shirley will be taken into the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ingebretson at Canton.
