LYONS - The funeral for Emory Hysell, 87, Lyons, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sillin-Crawford-Miller Funeral Home, Lyons, the REv. Jay Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Geneseo Cemetery.
Mr. Hysell died Wednesday at the Lyons Good Samaritan Home.
He was born Jan. 8, 1893, in Ellsworth County. He was a retired farmer and stockman and had lived in Lyons since 1946. His wife, Frances, died May 19.
Surviving are three sons, Hiram, Ellsworth, and Richard and Dan, both of Lyons; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Howe, Charlotte, Mich., and Mrs. Lila Berschauer, Albert; a sister, Mrs. Helen Herrington, Kanopolis; 13 grandchildren and thre great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Lyons Good Samaritan Home.
