Mr. Earl Raymond Hamlin, 79, of Route 2, Chesapeake, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 2, 1982, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Thursday at Schneider Funeral Home, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Marvin Turner. Burial will be in Getaway Cemetery. He was born January 12, 1903, in Lawrence County, Ohio, a son of the late Sheridan and Maggie Brammer Hamlin. He was a retired employee of the Chesapeake School System. Survivors include his wife, Alberta Henson Hamlin; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Simmons of Chesapeake, three sons, Ralph Hamlin and Forrest Hamlin, both of Chesapeake, and Bernard Hamlin of Youngstown, Ohio; one brother, Carl Hamlin of Chesapeake, nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
