Funeral services for Mrs. Mae Hamlin, 93, of Route 1, Chesapeake, will be held 2 pm today at Schneider Funeral Home. Rev. W.E. Bowen officiating with burial in Getaway Cemetery. Mrs. Hamlin, a native of Lawrence County, died Thursday night at her home following a long illness. She was a daughter of the late William H. and Cleo Webb Brammer and widow of Sheridan Hamlin, who died in 1948. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Earl and Carl of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
