Mrs. Jessie Holt Faile, age 70, of Fort Mill, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Fort Mill, with Dr. Jerry K. Sosebee officiating. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery.

Born in Monroe, N.C., Mrs. Faile was a daughter of the late Sidney and Eva Mae Deese Holt. She was formerly employed with Celanese and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Rock Hill. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and sports.

Surviving are her husband, Barry W. Faile; her son, Sid Faile of Fort Mill; two daughters, Sharon E. Faile and Lisa Taylor (Mike), all of Fort Mill; her sister, Martha Helms of Concord, N.C.; two adoptive grandchildren, Lacey and Dylan Taylor; nephews, Jimmy Helms, Michael Helms, and James Helms; and niece, Brenda Helms.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Wolfe Funeral Home and other times at the home.
