Charles Vanstrom Dies
Suddenly at His Home
in South Edgar

Charles Vanstrom, 75, died suddenly at his home in south Edgar Monday evening. He was at the supper table preparing to eat his meal when death came. He is survived by his wife and six children.

On October 19, 1947, he and Mrs. Vanstrom observed their 50th wedding anniversary.

He had spent all his married life in Edgar most of the time in his present home. Mr. Vanstrom conducted a green house and truck garden for all these fifty years.

He was familiarly known for his pertinent and timely articles which appeared in the Edgar Sun every week, his last contribution appearing in this issue of this paper. He found enjoyment in his work and his spade and hoe played a prominent part in his long and useful life. He was seldom seen up town, but he loved to visit with his many friends.
