Born in Williamston, she was a daughter of the late Miles Richard and Della Breazeale Ellison. She retired from Mt. Vernon Mills, was a member of Whitefield Baptist Church, and the Ruth Sunday School Class.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Brian Martin of Pelzer; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Sherry Fetner of Williamston; sister, Edith Whitlock; brother, Jerald Ellison, both of Williamston; and grandchildren, Hannah and Tony Sharbo, Jacob Fetner, Nathan Martin, Landon Martin, and Trevor Fetner.
She was predeceased by a son, Terry Dale Fetner; four sisters, Kathleen Martin, Gladys McAlister, Doris Beddingfield, and Luvia Thompson; and four brothers, Hulet Ellison, Douglas Ellison, Kenneth Ellison, and William Hoke Ellison.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Whitefield Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Charles Strickland, the Rev. Dr. Ron Fousek, and the Rev. Jimmy Smith officiating. Members of the Ruth Sunday School Class will serve as honorary escort. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at 104 Robinwood Lane, Pelzer, and will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
