Anne D. Meharg, 85, of McComb, died Aug. 18, 2008, at her home. Graveside services are 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hollywood Cemetery in McComb. The Rev. Donald Dick will officiate, and Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb will handle arrangements.
Mrs. Meharg was born Oct. 29, 1922, in McComb to P.A. Deere Sr. and Velma Netterville Deere.
She was a member of First Christian Church of McComb and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Meharg was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leroy Meharg; a brother, P.A. Deere Jr.; and a sister, Rose Mary Fancher.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Britty Deere of McComb, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the First Christian Church, 415 Delaware Ave, McComb, MS 39648.
