Info. from FAG member Cherie Officer, The Olean Evening Times, Dec.7, 1918 Page 5 and The Portville (NY) Review, Thursday, Dec. 5, 1918. Fredreka(sic) passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nicholas Hotton after a long illness. She came to America with her parents at age 11, then moved to Portville in 1866 and lived here the rest of her life. She had lived with her husband , who passed away in 1888, at the home owned by A.A. Worden in 1918. At the time of her death she was survived by three sons, Harold Bonsack of Minneapolis, Minn., Charles Bonsack of Buffalo, NY., and August Bonsack of Olean, NY; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Long and Mrs. Nicholas Hotton of Portville and Mrs. F.N. Forster of Buffalo, NY. The Funeral was held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nicholas Hattan(does not state where she lived)on Dec. 6, 1918.
