Sally Sanders McDonald, born February 10, 1956, died October 29, 2010, with her family by her side in Houston, Texas. Sally grew up Taft, Texas, along with her father and mother, R.B. and Jacquelyn Sanders and brothers, Roy and Jack Sanders.
While attending Taft High School, Sally received many academic and music awards. In addition to her academic and musical accomplishments, she played basketball, volleyball, and was a cheerleader. Sally continued her education at Baylor University, and graduated from Baylor University School of Law. While attending Baylor University she was an active member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She received the honor of being selected as "Baylor Beauty".
Sally met Keavin David McDonald while attending law school and they married soon after her graduation. Aside from her career as an oil and gas attorney for more than twenty-five years, Sally selflessly devoted her life to her children and husband.
Sally is survived by her husband, Keavin McDonald; sons, Joe Brooky and Jake Bailey McDonald; daughter, Julia Blayne McDonald; father, R.B. Sanders; brothers and their spouses Roy and Diane Sanders and Jack and Betty Sanders; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Regina Jacquelyn Sanders.
A visitation was scheduled for Sunday, October 31, 2010. The funeral took place on Monday, November 1, 2010. Both services took place at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079
