Funeral services for Seymour Moore, 81, of Mill Street in Lynnville were held at 11:00 a. m. Wednesday, May 7 at Queen Ann Funeral Home. Interment was in the Braden Cemetery, Lynnville. Rev. B. Cotton officiated.
Mr. Moore, a carpenter and painter, died Saturday evening May 3, 1980 at his residence. Born in Maury County he was the son of the late George and Mary Wagner Moore. He was married to the former Ophelia Gordon on May 19, 1926.
Survivors include his wife, Ophelia Moore, Lynnville; daughter, Mrs. Barbara Owings, son-in-law, Dr. Samuel R. Owings, Jr.; grandsons, Kerry Owings and Richard Owings, all of Baltimore, Maryland; brother, Joe Brown Moore, Nashville; sisters, Mrs. Birdie Dickerson, Nashville, Mrs. Zora Brown, Mrs. Eloise Brown and Mrs. Lucile Crosby, all of Chicago, Ill., 11 nephews and 7 nieces and other relatives.
