John Miller, 78, died at his home at 13__ North Union street at 11:30 Saturday night, following a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of Nebraska more than 60 years and had resided in Fremont for the past 15 years.
Mr. Miller was born in Sheboygan, Wis., October 24, 1855. He came to Nebraska at the age of 13. He was married to Emma Bentz October 19, 1892. They moved to Fremont 15 years ago to make their home. Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Archie Wagner, Mrs. Edward Brandt and Mrs. D. B. Gould and 11 grandchildren, all of Fremont; and three sisters, Mrs. Peter Rodewig, Mrs. George Hoffman and Mrs. Anna Newman. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Patrick's church. Burial will be made in Calvary cemetery.
