KENNETH M SCHNELL

Kenneth M Schnell, age 76, of 17631 Highway X, Kiel, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, Sept. 11, 1999 at his home.
He was born April 19, 1923 in the town of Eaton, son of the late Andrew and Stella Madigan Schnell. He attended the former Elder Grove School in the town of Eaton. On June 20, 1953 he married Marie Krueger in Chilton. He was employed by the Manitowoc County Highway Department for 40 years until retiring in 1985. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Marie; two daughters, Paula (Ken) Gilsdorf of Kiel, Lori (Jeff) Gierke of rural Kiel; three grandchildren; two brothers, John (Evelyn) Schnell of rural Kiel, James (Margie) Schnell of Sheboygan; six sisters, Helen (Otto) Kaderabek of Manitowoc, Bernice Zielke of West Allis, Alice (Walter) Dudarenke of Van Dyne, Grace (Edward) Mikalofsky of Fond du Lac, Gladys (Eugene) Paulson of Sheboygan; one sister-in-law, Patricia Schnell. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly; two brothers, Joseph and Francis Schnell; and one brother-in-law, Stephen Zielke.
Funeral services will be held at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel. Burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
