MILTON C. VOIGT

Milton C. Voigt, 72, at 1010 Fourth Street, Kiel, died Wednesday evening, March 21, at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.

He was born December 14, 1917, in the Town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County, son of the late Edwin and Anna (Maurer) Voigt. He was a 1936 graduate of Kiel High School. He married the former Elvera Henning on February 8, 1947, at Bethlehem United Church of Christ in the town of Schleswig.

At one time, he operated a cheese factory, near Kiel and was employed at Tecumseh Products of New Holstein for 28 ½ years, retiring in March of 1980. He was a life-long member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel; a member of the church men's chorus, served on the church consistory for many years and was a member of the Kiel Fish and Game Association.

Survivors include his wife, Elvera; one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Richard (Kathy) Voigt of Pewaukee; two sisters, Sylvia Vogel of Kiel and Evelyn (Charlie) Gerber of Carpentersville, Illinois; two brothers, Edwin (Joyce) Voigt of Kiel and Roger (Pat) Voigt of Sheboygan Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel, with the Rev. Raymond C. Coombs, pastor officiating.
