The funeral of Charles Herbold, senior member of Charles Herbold & Sons, builders, who died Wednesday, was held Saturday from his home, 2768 West North avenue. Burial was in Loudon Park Cemetery. Mr. Herbold was born March 7, 1842, in Roden, Germany, and came to this country when 16 (or 18?) years old. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Herbold; three sons, Charles F., William II, and John R. Herbold; two daughters, Miss Hilda R. Herbold and Mrs. L. K. Depser, and five grandchildren.
