Faith Bickle, age 65, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Hospice House in Odessa.

She was born in Rising Star, Texas on Thursday, January 22, 1945 to Lonnie and Mildred (Mallow) Shockey.

Faith was an active member of the Wink Church of Christ. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Monahans Tea Party. Faith was a very active person had many things she loved to do.

She could be found working on arts and crafts, gardening, reading, shopping for antiques, feeding the birds or you might have had the opportunity to see her roller skating (when she was younger). She was known to her family and friends as "Punk" or PunKin". She loved her grandkids.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband: A. H. (Armon) Bickle of Kermit; three sons: Roger Short and wife Lisa of Vinton, LA, Mark Short and wife Brandi of Kermit, and Cody Wayne Short of Kermit; two daughters: Julie White and husband Robert of Wink, and Dinelle James and husband Frank of Lubbock; one brother: Joe Shockey and wife Coleen of Balmorhea; two sisters: Dorita Burgess of Odessa and Julina Lindsey and husband Ray of Brady; eight grandchildren: Bobby, Chad, J.J., J.W., Stetson, Dylan, Tristen, and Cayden.

Those preceding her in death include her parents: Lonnie and Mildred Shockey; her first husband: H.D. "Okie" Short; daughter: Angela Short; two brothers: Billy and Gayland Shockey; and grandson: Peyton.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Family Services Funeral Chapel with the Brother Tommy Williamson officiating. Interment will follow at Kermit Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Roger Short, Pepper Morris, Dennis Morris, Mark Short, Cody Short and Chad Short. Honorary Pallbearers will include James Marlow, Phillip Holley, Robert White, and Frank James.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tea Party of Monahans.

Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor.
