Aunt Chryssanthe was a very beautiful woman. She was tall and slender. She was very proud of her heritage and her three children George, Sam and JoAnn. She was generous to the Orthodox church in Beaumont and Houston. It was a pleasure to be around her. She used such endearing terms when she talked to anyone in the family. When I was very young my father walked into her house and sat in the living room leafing through a magazine. My dad got her house mixed up with the doctors house next door. Aunt Chryssanthe walked into the living room wearing her house coat and greeted my dad as if she were expecting him for a morning visit.
