Carmelina (Carmela Restivo) Di Giorgio was baptized June 19 1881 in the Archidiocesi di Palermo, Comune di Termini Imerese, Parrocchia di S. Nicolo/C, Sicily, Italy. She was one of 10 children. Her Godparents were Agostino Marsala and Santa Di Cola. She immigrated 1890 Feb 5; from Naples, Italy, to New York & sailed on the SS Iniziativa

Carmelina and Rosario married Sep 9, 1099 in Baltimore, MD, USA. In 1906 she became a naturalized citizen of the United States.

Carmelina was homemaker and mother to her family. She was a member of the Italian Women's Club of Los Angeles and attended Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montrose, California. She enjoy crocheting and knitting.

Carmelina died from heart failure 28 June 1967 and was buried Jul 3 in Los Angeles, CA
