Gloria Catherine Legendre Autin passed away Nov. 8, 2010. She was born Nov. 25, 1927, in New Orleans to the late Antoine J. and Ida Champagne Legendre, and has been a resident of Covington since 1978. The beloved wife of the late Henry Joseph Autin, Jr., she is survived by three daughters, Dona A. Bilgrad, Coleen A. Scheffler and Tina A. Huther; four sisters, Loretta Crouchet, Rosita Appel, Lolita Pipkin and Sharmin Legendre; five brothers, Herman, Durel, Ridge, Senneth and Thaide Legendre; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Trudy Autin and one sister, Merle Marquis.
Funeral services were held yesterday at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington. Interment was in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington.
