Raymond J. Kotche, age 66, of Sun Prairie, died on Friday, June 27, 1975 of cancer at a Madison hospital.

Born in Milwaukee, December 11, 1908, he was a recently retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sun Prairie and the International Union of Operating Engineers.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Gerald of Janesvllle and Thomas, with the Navy in Rota, Spain; five daughters, Patricia of Sun Prairie, Rosemary Sommerville of Morristown, TN, Judith Parks of Cottage Grove, Marilyn Schasse of Sun Prairie, and Pamela, with the Navy in Washington, DC; and two brothers, Carl of Manitowoc and Howard of Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna, who died in October of 1974.

Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sun Prairie at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 30. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 29 at the Tuschen Funeral Home, Sun Prairie, where a Scripture service will be held at 8 p.m. The family requests that memorials be made to the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
