Death of Halvor Oleson The death of Halvor Oleson, father of Ole Oleson of this city, which occurred Tuesday evening, at Winneconne, has already been mentioned. Mr. Oleson was born May 24th, 1808, in Norway, and was, therefore nearly 74 years of age at the time of his death. He came to this country in 1843, and immediately settled in Wisconsin, removing to Winnebago County about 1852 and taking up a farm in the town of Winchester. Here he lived until about six years ago, when he removed to Winneconne, to pass his remaining days in greater ease and quietude than had marked a long and busy life. He leaves a wife and four grown up children. A son Martin, lives in Barron County, and two married daughters reside in Winneconne. The funeral will take place in Winneconne to-morrow at 2 o'clock.
