Mr. Burton died at 8 p.m Tuesday at his home, 1818 West Thirteenth Street, as the result of injuries received November 6 in an elevator accident in the Goddard warehouse.
Surviving are the widow, Christie; two sons, William A. Burton of Muncie, and Carl E. Burton of Yorktown; two daughters, Mrs. Grace M. West of Logansport, and Mrs. Lucinda Mahoney of Muncie; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Hoffman of Benton Harbor, Mich. and Mrs. Maude Watson of Indianapolis; and 15 grandchildren.
