Age 78. His grave, along with many others, was relocated to Hope Cemetery from the Mechanic St. Burial Ground in downtown Worcester, MA, in the late 19th Century. This was to allow for development of the downtown area.
Served as a private in Capt Benjamin Flagg's Company that responded to the alarm at Lexington on April 19, 1775. Also in Capt David Chadwick's Company in August 1777. Deacon of the Old South Church in Worcester from 1801 until his death.
