Mrs. Nannie Brooks, relict of the late Max Brooks, died at her home, No. 25 Main street at 5 o'clock yesterday morning of heart trouble. Mrs. Brooks enjoyed good health until early Monday morning when she was stricken down, living but 24 hours after. She was born in Rucheim, Germany, and was 72 years of age. In 1860 she became a resident of this place, where she has since made her home. Four children, Samuel M. Brooks, of this city, Mrs. Rosenthal of New York, Mrs. Herold and Mrs. Phelps of Shreveport, La., survive her. The funeral will be observed tomorrow afternoon, the Rev. Dr. Aherns, of Buffalo, officiating.
