The Fitzpatrick family came to Sioux county in 1861 and located on the farm where the death occurred. Deceased was a good citizen and shrewd manager and was posessed of an estate consisting of about 800 acres of Sioux county land and other holdings here and in Washington state. he was a consistent member of the catholic church. His funeral was held Friday at ten o'clock from St. Mary's church at Maurice-Father McNally officiating.
