Ninetieth Anniversary Birthday Observed
Mrs. Louise Klingsporn, formerly of Plymouth and a life-long resident of Sheboygan County observed her 90th birthday on Sunday.
The birth of Mrs. Klingsporn occurred in Town Rhine on March 11, 1861, and her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schaeferkort. She lived in Sheboygan County and was employed there before her marriage on August 25, 1891, to Samuel Klingsporn. The couple resided in the village of Elkhart Lake and later moved to Plymouth. Mrs. Klingsporn left that city in 1943 and has been staying with her daughters since, alternating her visits among three of them. Her husband passed away in 1931.
Four daughters in the family circle are, Mrs. Arno (Tillie) Donath, Milwaukee; Mrs. Clarence (Emily) Ludwig, Milwaukee; Mrs. William (Hermina) Lindow, Sheboygan, and Mrs. Wieland. Although there were seven daughters and one son born to the Klingsporns, three daughters are deceased, namely Mrs. Adam (Emma) Becker, who lived at Elkhart Lake, Mrs. Clara Bast, who was a Milwaukee resident, and Mrs. Walter (Louise) Kohl, formerly of Plymouth, and one son, who died in infancy.
Eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren are in the family. One of the special guests was a sister of Mrs. Klingsporn, Mrs. Frank Grether, Franklin.

Mrs. Louise Klingsporn, 92, a former resident of Plymouth, died late Friday afternoon (Apr 3, 1953) at Sunset Nursing Home, 606 St, Clair Ave., after an illness of nine months.
A life-long resident of Sheboygan County, she was born March 11, 1861, in the Town of Rhine, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schaeferkort, pioneer residents of the area.
Following her marriage to Samuel Klingsporn at Elkhart Lake on Aug. 17, 1892, she made her home in Elkhart Lake and in the Town of Russell until moving to Plymouth in 1911.
Mrs. Klingsporn was a member of the Salem Evangelical and Reformed Church at Plymouth.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. C. C. (Emily) Ludwig, Milwaukee, Mrs. W. W. (Hermina) Lindow, Sheboygan, and Mrs. Andrew (Ella) Wieland, Elkhart Lake; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Grether, Plymouth and Mrs. William Grether, Loveland Colo.
Her husband died Aug 23, 1932. Four daughters, one son, three sisters and a brother also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday at Wittkopp Funeral Home, Plymouth, with the Rev. Paul Olm, pastor of the Elkhart Lake Community Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Elkhart Lake Cemetery. (Sheboygan Press-April 4, 1953)
