Sheboygan Zeitung, Wed. Sept. 29, 1897, p. 8, c. 2
The old Mr. Schumacher from Ada, who had been ill for a long time, last Wednesday
succumbed to his suffering. Besides a heart ailment, he also had dropsy. He
reached the age of a little more than 76 years. The funeral took place last Friday
at the church cemetery in Schwartzwald.
******
His county death record and this obituary indicate he was buried at St. Joseph in Schwartzwald, but his stone is in Holy Trinity Cemetery School Hill. Perhaps it was moved there to mark the grave of Margaret his third wife.
