The body of Charles D. Browne, 43; youngest child of the late Thurston and Harriet B. Browne of this place, was brought from a Utica vault and interred in the Morrisville cemetery with full military honors on Saturday afternoon.
Services were conducted by the Utica Legion Post, of which he was a member. A sizeable delegation from that post accompanied the remains, also the brothers Duane and Lynn and three sisters, Mrs. McCoy, Mrs. Marsh, and Miss Grace Browne and other members of the family including a number of nephews and nieces, all from Utica or nearby. Mrs. Will Field, Sr. is a cousin.
