Bernice Przybylowicz, 98, of Crossville, passed away Nov. 20, 2010. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at St. Alphonus Catholic Church. The body will lie in state from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, with a Rosary and prayer service at 7:30 p.m., from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearbon Heights, MI.
Mrs. Przybylowicz was born Aug. 19, 1912, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Ignatz and Ludwika Dworak Grzywacz.
Survivors include her son, Norman Bylow of Warren, MI; daughter Betty Ann Calabrese and her husband Robert of Crossville; brother John Grzywacz of Farmington Hills, MI; sisters-in-law, Genievie Przybylowicz and Eleanor Meloche, both of Belleville, MI; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Przybylowicz; sons, Walter Jr. and Leonard Przybylowicz; daughter, Barbara Jean Przybylowicz; and great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Michelle Calabrese.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Alphonus Catholic Church Building Fund or Hospice of Crossville.
