Amelia and her husband moved to Ohio in 1859 and lived there for 9 years. In 1868 they came to St. Joseph Co. In 1904 Amelia moved to Centreville to live with a son. She was survived by sons G. Frank, W. Allen & J. Wallace and daughters Mrs. Sadie Gibson, Mrs. Amanda Deuel, Mrs. Cora Wagner, Mrs. Mable Hagelgans & Mrs. Ella Miller.
