Andy was survived by his loving wife, Shirley Ann Hughes Muse; one son, Vince (and Ann) Muse; two daughters, Michele (and Eddie) Gaines and Angela (and Jason) Burton; eight grandchildren, Joshua and Alex Muse, Brittany, Megan, and Holly Gaines, and Brad, Natalie and Addison Burton; two brothers, Will (and Joan) Muse and Amos (and Nancy) Muse; two sisters, Leah Fern Hacker and Nova (and Wilbur) Oakes; his mother-in law, Bernice Hughes; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nannie Muse; three brothers, Denver Muse, Medith Muse and Dormas Muse who died in infancy; four sisters, Juanita Floyd, Montie Daws, Velma Ard and Pansy Mosley and his father-in-law, Mr. Wilburn Hughes.
When "Andy" was active, he worked in Cincinnati, Ohio as a machinist in the steel working industry. He was a wonderful person, and a devoted husband, dad and papaw. One of his favorite things in life to do was spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening, being outside and cooking. He was well known for his Cincinnati chili and butterfinger cake. "Andy" was a kind person who is greatly missed by all who knew him, he leaves a host of relatives, and friends who mourn his passing.
His family received friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 26th, 2010.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 27th, 2010 in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Walden and Rev. Ron Vernatter officiating.
Burial followed in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset, Kentucky.
