Bowers, Luther, age 81, of OKC, passed away July 3, 1986 at St. Anthony Hospital. He was born Nov. 3, 1904 in Stuart, Ok., came to OKC in 1932. He was a grocer for several years in the south OKC area and then worked for Hart Industrial Supply before retiring in 1974. He was a member of the Rancho Village Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Don, and is survived by his wife, Bernice of the home; a son, Richard of OKC; step-mother, Eula Bowers of Tuttle, Ok; brother, Jim of OKC; sisters, Ruby Ikard and Helen Greenroyd, both of OKC, Eva Mae Crowder of Santa Ana, CA., Maxine Jeffries of Amber, OK; 5 grandchildren, 2 gr4eat grandchildren. Services 10 am Saturday, at the Rancho Village Baptist Church, directed by Vondel L. Smith & Sons.
