On Sunday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Temperance Bodwell, age 63, wife of Frank Bodwell of Sanford.
Mrs. Bodwell was, in girlhood, converted
and baptized, joining the Baptist Church at Somersworth in New Hampshire. Upon her marriage to Mr. Bodwell she tranferred her membership to the church at South Acton, near which the newly married couple made their home for many years. She was a member of this church at time of her death.
Two years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Bodwell built a new house at Sanford and removed there.
Many of the former neighbors of South Acton gathered at the cemetery in South Acton to show their respect for one, who by her faithful life and cheery ways had endeared herself to all who knew her.
Her husband and son have the sympathy in their bereavement, of a large circle of friends.
