Viva Lee James, 82, Russellville, Alabama, died Tuesday, March, 11, 2003. Mrs.James lived all her life in Franklin County, and was a member of Belgreen Church of Christ.
Visitation was 5-8 pm, Wednesday at Spry Chapel of Russellville. The funeral will be at 12:30 pm today at Spry Chapel of Russellville, with Jackie Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Belgreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Rickard, David Hester, Wayne Hester, Clay Grissom, Sonny Boyd and Nicholas Boyd.
Survivors are sisters, Wildred Taylor, Colbert Heights and Jean Washburn and husband, Lucky, of Muscle Shoals and special caretaker, Sherry Bragwell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis James ; parents, Ernest and Effie Hester; and sisters, Mabel Wells and Vera May DeVaney ; brothers; Luther Hester and Clarence Hester.
