Betty Abernathy Arnold Age 82 of Nashville, TN passed away November 28, 2010. She was born on November 26, 1928 in Pulaski, TN to the late Charles and Rachel Abernathy. She was married to James Arnold for 42 years before his passing in 1991.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Reeves, Joy Arnold and Jerri Arnold; sisters, Frances Derryberry and Alice Smith; brother, Julius Abernathy; granddaughter, Rebecca Jones (Jason); grandson, Andrew Reeves (fiance, Tracie Stone).

Mrs. Arnold was a charter member of Dalewood United Methodist Church, where she and her husband participated in the Lay Witness Missions program, and were members of the Elderberry Class.

Betty was also a volunteer at Skyline Medical Center and will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dalewood United Methodist Church and/or Alive Hospice.

The Funeral Ceremony was on Thursday December 2, 2010, at 11AM in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home.

Interment followed in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery where nephews served as pallbearers.

Visitation was Wednesday evening from 4-8PM and on Thursday from 10-11AM at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY 5110 Gallatin Road at Briley Parkway, Nashville, TN 37216 (615)865-1101
