Adolph Meyers 1920-1984

Adolph Meyers, 64, Bagley, died Friday, November 16 at Fargo Veterans Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church, Bagley, with the Rev. Mauritz Lundeen officiatiing. Interment will be in Bagley City Cemetery under the direction of Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.
He was born July 1, 1920 in Moorhead. He graduated from mMoorhead High School and studied two years at Moorhead State Teachers College. He was a veteran of World War II. He worked 38 years in road construction for several companies throughout the northern United States. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Club and was active at the Bagley Senior Citizens Center. He was married to Mayme Baron in Bagley, February 14, 1975.
He is survived by his wife; four stepchildren, Walter Joseph Baron, Jacksonville, North Carolina, Joseph ouglas Baron, Lexington, Kentucky and Melvin Baron, Springsboro, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Julie Anne Morris, Winger, Minnesota; other children prior to his marriage to Mayme Baron, Sharon Lihn Meyers of Madison, Wisconsin and David Meyers of Hibbing; five brothers, Fred Maier of Fairfield, California, Godfrey of Renton, Washington, William of Hagerstown, Maryland, Carl of San Rapheal, California and Archie of Fargo, North Dakota; five sisters, Martha Malhuim of Clockeemos, Oregon, Alice Maier of Bronson, Missouri, Evelyn DeMoulin, Fairfield, California, Ruth Maier of Seattle, Washington and Lydia Maier, Richmond, California and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
