In poor health for the past years, death came Monday afternoon to Andrew
Ciak of 176 North Main Street. In the past few months he had been feeling
much improved and his death was unexpected. He was 55 years old.

came to Perry where he had employment with The Perry Knitting Co. With the
exception of a few months work at the Robeson Cutlery Co. he worked from
the time of his arrival in Perry until the time of his illness in 1938 at
The Perry Knitting Co.
In 1915 he married Miss Katherine Rys, a resident of Perry and also a
native of Poland.
He is survived by his wife, a son, Dr. Joseph Ciak of the Rochester
