Last Rites Set for War Casualty
Raymond Kolacinski, whose death at Guadalcanal in 1942 was the first casualty among Perry soldiers in World War II, will be buried in Perry, Saturday morning with full military honors.
The remains will reach Perry Friday morning with an escort of veterans meeting the train at 7:40 p.m. Services will be held from St. Stanislaus Church Saturday morning at 9 o'clock, with burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Survivors include his father Benjamin Kolacinski of Philadelphia; a twin brother, Henry, who returned home yesterday from the Warsaw hospital where he has been a patient; a brother Anthony; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Szczepanowski (Helen) and Mrs. Frank Godlewsik (Mary) of Perry. and a brother, Benjamin of Chicago.
