Albert Bowyer, 66, died at his home last Wednesday morning. He had been in his usual heallth; the cause of death was given as angina pectoris.

He was born Aug 29, 1864 at Arenzville IL. the s/o Matthew and Mary Buck Bowyer. He came to Piatt County when abt 20 years old and engaged in farming. He married Oda Smith on Feb 7, 1894. Three daughters were born to them: Myrtle, Ruth and Florence, all at home.

Besides his wife and daughters he leaves sisters: Ollie Buckley, Argenta; Mae Castle, Kewanee; Rhoda Speaker, Beardstown; Edna Preckwinkle, Flemington NJ; Lucy Jeck, Kankakee; and two brothers Robert of St Clair Falls WI; and L. E. of Monticello.

Funeral services were held at the Christian Church with burial in Bement cemetery.
