Born the daughter of John Millard Saunders and Frances Lee (Tate) Saunders (Fannie Lee). Married to James Ambrose White approximately 1909. They had 5 children Saunders, James, Verna, Millard and Kimber.

Verna Lee was an active member of the Daughters of the Confederacy. She maintained a lovely home and garden and was fun to be with.

She is missed by family.
