COLUMBUS--Leora Rentfro Kelly, 83, of Columbus, formerly of Grand Island died July 22 at the Columbus Manor following a long illness.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. July 29 at West Lawn Memorial Park in Grand Island. The Rev. Ralph Ford will officiate. McKown funeral home in Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kelly was born June 10, 1906 in Custer County to Henry and Ada Hohman Clanton. She received her education in Hall County District 13 and 14 schools.
She married Joseph Kelly July 3, 1926 in Aurora. They made their home in Grand Island and Columbus. She worked as a salesperson and bookkeeper for Kelly Plumbing.
She had attended the First Christian Church in Grand Island and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Eagles.
She was preceded in death for four stepbrothers and one brother, Lee Clanton
