Mrs Ada Evans of 327 West Main Street, a resident of this city for nearly all her life, died here Tuesday. She was born in Portland, Me.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs William E Wilson of this city and Mrs Irene Smith of New York City; a son, Arthur J Evans of Hartford; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Laura Mitchell of West Haven, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the funeral home of B C Porter Sons. The Rev Ralph W Williams, pastor of the Emmanuel Gospel Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of the services.
