His tombstone records his birth year as 1902, but this is an error. Frank H. Rickerl was listed as a member of his parents' family in the 1900 census (2 years old, June 1897 birth month/year); his nephew Brother Florian, C.F.X. also recorded Frank's birth year as 1897 in his Rickerl Family Tree. Frank himself stated his birth date was 14 June 1897 in his World War I Draft Registration Card.
