Services for Carl C. Klingler, 77, of 1202 N. Adams, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Chiles and Sons-Laman West Wayne Street Chapel, Rev. Clyde Miller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Klingler died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in a Veterans Hospital in Lexington, Ky., after a several months illness. Born July 29, 1898, in Paulding County, he was the son of the late Frank and Dora Richardson Klingler. Klingler, a retired truck driver for Pangles Master Market, was a member of the Eagles Lodge and American Legion and was a World War II veteran. His wife, Viola Klingler, died March 1, 1968. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Naomi Rinehart of Largo, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Gause of 1208 N. McCullough; a brother, Weldon Klingler of Clum Road; a sister, Mrs. George (Margaret) Ruhlen of Fetter Road; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
