Clare E. Courtney Mahurin, age 85, resided 119 G St. NW, Miami, died Monday at Miami, following a lengthy illness. Born near Columbia Missouri, she moved to Miami in 1949 from Bartlesville Oklahoma. She had worked for McDonald-Brown Printing Company and more recently the Gosney Printing Company before her retirement in 1975. Survivors include her husband, Rupert Mahurin, of the home; three sons, two step-sons, one step-daughter, one sister, Mrs. Emily Lewis, Nashville Tennessee, and several grandchildren and great-grandchild. Services Aug 5, 1987 with burial in the G.A.R.cemetery, Miami. Cooper funeral home, Miami is in charge.
