Louise, of the 400 block of Clemson Avenue, Chesapeake, was born in Cleveland, White County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Frank Augustus McAfee and Nora Stuman McAfee and the widow of Paul Stuart Garrison. She was an active member of Raleigh Heights Baptist Church, Sunday School teacher and member of the Hallelujah Singers. She attended the colleges of North Georgia, William and Mary, the University of Virginia and Old Dominion University. Retired from Chesapeake public schools; taught at Truitt Jr. High and Oscar F. Smith HS. She enjoyed crafting wood, gardening, painting and enjoyed feeding "her extended family" at the Chesapeake Fire Station #2. Survived by daughter, Lenora "Dude" Antley and husband William of Chesapeake; 2 grandchildren: Mark Antley and wife Tracey of Chesapeake and Lauren Borahan and husband Ali of Austin, TX; 2 G-granddaughters: Megan and Rebecca Antley, both of Chesapeake; a sister, Mary Price of Cleveland, GA; a sister-in-law, Tetzel Wilder McAfee of Cleveland, GA; as well as beloved nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Louise surcumbed March 26, 2002 to cancer after many years of stoic endurance.
