Mrs. Laverne M. Greiner 82, widow of the late Dr. C. C. Greiner, passed away at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Charles Hospital, Toledo. She had been ill for several months and had been in the hospital for four weeks. Death resulted from complications.
Mrs. Laverne M. Greiner was born on March 8, 1874, at Tontogany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Matthews. She was married to Dr. C. C. Greiner who preceeded her in death 22 years ago.
She was a member of the Pemberville Presbyterian Church and of the Woman's Assocation of that Church. She was a charter member of the Mental Culture Club here and a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. A. C. Haughton, West Palm Beach, FL. and a son Dr. G. S. Greiner, Pemberville, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Florence M. Baker Toledo. She was preceeded in death by a son Earl.
