Mrs. Elizabeth Phillipps died Saturday at her home in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Surviving are her husband, John; a daughter, Mrs. Julius Steward of Colorado Springs; two sons, James Brantley, Providence, and Buell T. Phillipps, Colorado Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Al Pickens, Providence, and Mrs. Gordon Seitz, Detroit, Mich.; a half-sister, Mrs. Guthrie Travis, Providence; two brothers, J.T. Hazel of Detroit and Ottis Hazel of Iron Mountain, Mich.; and two half-brothers, Albert Hazel, Providence, and the Rev. Willie Hazel, Kansas City, Mo.
The body arrived Tuesday night at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis and funeral services were held there at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Raymond Hazel officiated.
Burial was in Pythian Ridge cemetery, Sturgis.
